To answer your question, i think the game imo is great because: The companions are uninspired and most of the time are just annoying. Paper mario origami king might not be the thousand year door 2.0 on the nintendo switch but i still think we should be optimistic!

I used invader's texture pack for the rest.it has a color splash/origami king style now :)new mario! At the same time, a consistent identity across a long timeline can breed stagnation and prevent innovation. I've dug about two hours into origami king and it is a slog.

However, while you will get to have a fun new cast of characters join mario on his latest adventure, not all of your new buddies will participate in battle. The previous fastest selling paper mario game is super paper mario, not paper. It makes no sense to me!

I am a fan of the first 2 paper mario games while i also loved super paper mario and liked color splash (hated sticker star tho). Origami king is the paper mario series back on track, and it's doing better than ever. The old characters aren't there and the combat looks strange!

So Let's Talk About It:

Origami king honestly has the best combination of story, jokes, music, and exploration of any of the game in the series. With & without white out. That being said, ttyd isn't as good as sticker star.
